CHICKASHA OK

Forty five minutes southwest of Oklahoma City is Chickasha OK, county seat of Grady County. Shown are the Grady County Courthouse, Chickasha City Hall, former Rock Island train station and Washita Theater.

PERRY OK

Perry OK is the county seat of Noble County in central Oklahoma, 60 miles north of Oklahoma City and just east of I-35. Perry was established after the great land run of 1893.

Photos include the county courthouse, former Santa Fe Railway depot, Sinclair gas station and Daniels Field, home of the Perry Maroons high school football team.

Convicted Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building bomber Timothy McVeigh was originally arrested in Noble County and held in the courthouse jail before being linked to the bombing. He was then led from the courthouse and transported to Oklahoma City.
